Masahiro Shimba

Masahiro Shimba

Masahiro Shimba was born in Kakegawa, Shizuoka. Studied at Milan Conservatory as a scholar of the Rotary Foundation after graduating Tokyo University of Arts. Masahiro made his first debut as Alfred in “La Traviata” in Teatro Comunale in Italy. His early career in opera, and concert was a greatest success, and made international debut starting from Italy throughout Europe, America, Canada, and Japan.


Masahiro performs and takes a role as a producer in musical charity concert every year in cathedrals in the Vatican and Japan, to help the greatest east Japan earthquake stricken area in supports of the Vatican and Italy since 11th March 2013.


Masahiro solo sang the national anthem in The Tenno Sho (Emperor’s Prize) in 2013, and for the Japan Series (Nippon Professional Baseball) in 2015, and 2018. In 2019, he received the Rossini Award.

He roles as a supportive ambassador in Kakegawa city.
