Alpha Contemporary는 오는 2025년 7월 11일부터 13일까지, 아티스트 런 스페이스와 컬렉티브를 위한 국제 아트페어이자, 향후 전 세계 예술 커뮤니티 간의 교류와 연대를 모색하는 자리인 Tryst 2025에서 《A Room of Her Own: 아시아 여성, 도쿄 센서빌리티 — 버지니아 울프의 〈자기만의 방〉에서 착안》 전시를 선보입니다.
본 행사는 토런스 아트 뮤지엄(TAM) 및 토런스 시가 주관합니다.
버지니아 울프의 산문 A Room of One’s Own에서 제목을 가져온 이번 전시《A Room of Her Own: East Asian Women and the Tokyo Sensibility》는 도쿄라는 도시를 배경으로, 7 명의 동아시아 여성 예술가들이 구축해온 감각적이고 내밀한 공간들을 소개합니다.

최나무 작가, 넷플릭스의 새로운 화제작과 협업
최나무 작가는 8월 23일 공개된 넷플릭스의 화제작 『아무도 없는 숲속에서』에서 여주인공 고민시가 분한 의문의 여인 유성아가 그리는 작품의 원작자로 참가했습니다. 작품의 분위기 만들기에 중요한 요소로 등장하는 최나무 작가의 작품을 드라마와 함께 즐겨주세요.
최나무 작가의 작품은 현재 알파 컨템포러리의 온라인 스토어에서도 소장가능합니다.
